Debt Management

A debt management plan allows Debt Deliverance to manage your debts in an informal, but professionally drafted agreement with your creditors (the people to whom you owe money) by making one single affordable monthly payment. The Consumer Credit Act means that your unsecured creditors must accept only payments that you can afford after your reasonable living expenses are taken into account. As long as you are a UK resident with two or more creditors and more than £2,000 of unsecured debts, then we will be able to help you.

Debt Deliverance acts as an agent between you and your creditors. We will contact your creditors to arrange a repayment plan and once we have done this, you simply make your affordable monthly payment to us, and we will distribute this fairly amongst your creditors in accordance with the plan. As long as you make a commitment to make the payments every month it is likely that your creditors will accept the plan.

Debt Deliverance has a tremendous track record in gaining creditors’ agreement to respond sympathetically to your circumstances by freezing or reducing interest in order that your monthly payments will help to reduce the capital balance. *

The benefits of a debt management plan are:

  • One payment each month makes money management easier.
  • We manage your debts for you, taking away your stress.
  • We will negotiate with your creditors to freeze or reduce your interest.
  • There are no hidden costs as fees are covered within your payment.
  • You can stop the plan at any time without any penalties.

* Not all creditors will agree to this and this could lead to you repaying your debts over a longer period and consequently to an increase in the overall debt.
